Hello,

I was wondering if it would be still possible to downgrade (to 1.1.1), jailbreak, and upgrade (to 1.1.2) an OOB 1.1.2 phone for use with a stealthsim after the 1.1.3 patch gets released as long as the phone is 1.1.2 OOB?

Regards,
Stark.

 Hi Nate,

I have one of the officially unlocked iphones from france. As you may now these phones dont really like sim cards from outside france. Can you confirm if in the international region format apple have added spain to the list?? Also notice anything that might suggest any spanish mobile network would be accepted unlike on 1.1.2??

Hi Nate, great work!! Going back to what Kasper just said, 1.1.1 and 1,1,2 both included brick mode, 1.0.2 didnt. So if you downgrade back to 1.0.2, it should work. Also, the Elite Dev Team created an app that can set brick mode to off, have ya tried that yet??

Nate - I don't quite get this. This has never been possible, ie if you updated from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2, and later downgraded to 1.1.2, you would be stuck with the baseband from the 1.1.2 (ofcourse, unless you choose to downgrade the baseband with bbupdater and the 1.1.2 secpack).

Or, you wouldnt get an actual ERROR doing it - but nevertheless, the iPhone with the SIM was useless if you downgraded a 1.1.2 to 1.1.1. You would never get a signal.

I guess the REALLY interesting thing is if you can extract the secpack from the 1.1.3 firmware and do an actual downgrade of the baseband, just like it was possible with 1.1.2. And, obviously, if 1.1.3 will change anything when it comes to software unlocking 1.1.2 out-of-the-box iPhones.

slim, no. Jailbreak won't be an issue. However as it stands you will not be able to downgrade from 1.1.3 should you wish to do so.
