I followed the directions to Jailbreak my iPhone, and the screen turned green and itunes told me I had to restore my iPhone. On the iBrickr program it said that i didn't need to and said it could fix it for me. I clicked on the button and my screen turned Red. It said that iBrickr would restart my iPhone, but it wont restart! It keeps trying to, but it will just be a black screen with the white apple logo, then it will have a bunch of white scrolling letters and numbers.....kinda like the matrix. Anyway, it keeps doing this and i can't do anything with my iPhone now......Please help me!

Hi there, i just downloaded the ibrickr software and plug in my iphone 3g...i did not go thru the setting part but straight to option ready to customize my phone. I REALLY need help. I jailbroke my ipod touch 1.1.5 using ziphone 2 days ago. It was sitting in the usb adapter and all the sudden i notice weird text. something about having to EXIT. i put it in recovery mode and restored it. it restored, then i noticed it wouldn't get out of recovery mode. i unplugged it and it was still in recovery. reset it and still in recovery. i tried to restore it several more times and the same thing.

so i got ibrickr. the only option the program gave me was "FREE MY PHONE"

i clicked it and it said it was running jailbreak on my phone and to please wait. i waited even though it didnt sound right. hours later, it was on the same screen.

can anyone please help? answer me here or please email me?

This is all you have to do if you get the loop.
My iphone was unlocked and was doing great for me until today.
I tried to install and work with this stupid software and everything was upset.
I just had the same problem like you and was crazy for few hours.
Do you know how I over came?
1. Open itunes and connect the iphone to computer.
2.Hold the home button and the power button when the iphone is about to restart.
3. When it restarts leave the power button and hold the home button.

Hi Nate, here is a challenge for you: I jailbroke, etc. my 1.0.2 iPhone using iBrickr (yay!). Now, when upgrading via iTunes to a newer firmware, iTunes can't handle it. It almost finishes, but in the last part, when there is only a fraction of an inch to go on in the "Restoring iPhone software..." dialog, iTunes hangs. Disconnecting brings me to the "Please connect to iTunes" on the iPhone. What does iTunes do in the very last part of restoring? Why can't the iPhone boot?

Update: I believe that iTunes expects the iPhone to reboot during the very last phase. My iPhone gets stuck.
Update2: Used iTunes on a Mac and it made all the difference. There FW was restored and the phone rebooted properly. Go figure.

derekjleo or anyone else with the endless loop with ibrickr, download ziphone (google it) and it has a option (click advanced options or whateva) to run in DFU Mode, now i warn you it needs to get the command off before the endless loop command happens, so its gonna take a long time trying to get it to dfu mode (took me over an hour) and it will be extremely aggravating, but it will get you to a screen that will let reinstall the firmware ( i warn you this took forever but its worth the aggravation )

I am using iphone jailbreak 1.1.2, all the feature is working fine but for some reason my i-tune is not detecting my i-phone. When I reboot my i-phone, i-tune detects the i-phone for few sec and then disconnect. I did try to uninstall i-tune and reinstall it back to my windows XP home. I'm having an issue with my 1.1.3 iPhone. I unlocked it using the tutorial at iphone.unlock.no and the "Official 1.1.3 Upgrader" software (since the sources needed by the iBrickr were dissabled), and it "works"...... but I can't add or remove content from the iPhone. For example, I can't add or delete Notes, Photos, e-mail (cannot check my mail or remove the accounts synced from my computer), etc.
I haven't played with the hardware, just the software, if you know what I mean.

Do you know how to fix this?

ok so my phone was buggin out b4 and i took it to the apple store so they could fix it and the guy said that it went into panic mode, and i dont kno wat he did, but now my phone is fixed. so if ur phone is havin that constant scroll of data then keeps rebooting, just take it to the apple store and they will fix it 4 u :)

I have a hacked 1.1.2 iphone. Installer was on it and then I installed customiser. When I was in customiser I tapped on what looked like an eye in the top right hand corner. After I did this the eyes next to the icons on the screen went away. When I exited customiser both customiser and installer were no longer on the iphone. They have not been deleated just can't see them anymore. How can I get both of these applications back? Anyone's help would be much appreciated.

i've been trying to unlock my iphone with your ibrickr software! I've tried many times and restored the iphone with itunes. I tried cracking it again with ibrickr and it said there was an error. I successfully installed and was using iBrickr and added the Finder application to delete a few applications I didn't want, like Aquarium. The SECOND I deleted that application, my phone went to the passcode screen [I have a passcode set up] but I can't punch in my code. It just goes to the screen that says "Enter Passcode" and there's the iPhone timer that tells me to wait. After a few seconds, it goes into sleep mode where I have to slide the slider across the screen to wake it up, then it just goes to the passcode screen again and does the entire thing over and over. I can't enter my passcode and rebooting my phone does absolutely nothing.

PLEASE HELP!!!

my problem isnt that big.. but i had SummerBoard v2.11 installed on my phone and then i uninstalled it with Installer v2.63 from my iPhone, it came up with some message saying it could be bad and i just said yes. it uninstalled the app but changed the theme to a plain ugly one, so i went on iBrickr and installed it again, the iPhone did a soft restart and it wasnt installed, i have tryed this with manny app's and same thing happends... what do i do?.

my problem isnt that big.. but i had SummerBoard v2.11 installed on my phone and then i uninstalled it with Installer v2.63 from my iPhone, it came up with some message saying it could be bad and i just said yes. it uninstalled the app but changed the theme to a plain ugly one, so i went on iBrickr and installed it again, the iPhone did a soft restart and it wasnt installed, i have tryed this with manny app's and same thing happends... what do i do?

All the iphones purchased after Nov. 9th (in north america from wat i know) have the new 4.6 bootloader and come with 1.1.2 firmware. If u bought ur iphone after this date this applies to u, as the 4.6 bootloader makes it currently impossibly to sim unlock. I'm in this position currently. Dont just follow the video, stick to the steps and once ur fone is jailbroken and has installer on it u can choose to keep it at 1.1.1 or rejailbreak it and have 1.1.2. So basically u can stop right before it says UPGRADE TO 1.1.2 on the tutorial.

By jailbreaking, it means that your phone will be able to do everything except make calls, and ull just have to wait, like many of us, for the iphone dev team to figure out the sim unlock for the Out Of the Box 1.1.2 iphones (with 4.6 bootloader). Once that happens it should only be a matter of downloading the application from installer and launching it. nonetheless, heres the iphone dev teams webpage, it will tell u when they are able to sim unlock OUt of the Box 1.1.2 iphones with the 4.6 bootloader.

Several people have a problem with the iphone in a reboot mode or application code keeps scrolling on the screen after the apple logo disappears when iphone is turned on.

I had the same problem. here is what I did:
1. put the iphone in restore mode. (held down the power button until triangle or connect to itunes appears - do not let go of the power button.
2. keep holding the power button and connect to itunes.
3. itunes said phone needed to be restored.
4. restored iphone with original version that phone was shipped with.
Note: you should still be holding the power on button
5. once the restore completes release the power on button and restart the phone.

PS you could try releasing the power on button once the restore starts. If phone goes back to rebooting or displaying application code you will have to hold the power on button until the restore completes

*** To enter restore mode you need to hold BOTH the power button AND the home button.

I Bought an Iphone from The US, Fully Unlocked 8gb
It Worked fine When i got it, Then i seen This ibrickr
I downloaded it and thought it was great but then i found You Could change different sounds, Stupidly i changed the sound when you plug it into charge the sound was quite a big file.
Now everytime i plug my iphone in it freezes and my computer does not pick it up therefore does not charge properly and i cant put any music via itunes.
I have to reset my Iphone for it to work but it dosnt get picked up as something on my computer.

Because ill get to the screen that says.. its adding files it will restart soon ( the phone restarts ) but never does it accually pop the screen up that tells me to, like it does in the video.

Then it goes to the Modding screen in which it stays there for about 10 mins. and around 11, my iphone goes from the blue recovery mode screen. To green.

And the second it hits green.. and ibrickrs recovery doesnt work and i have to go to itunes.

To stop your phone from rebooting you'll have to put it in restore mode. To this first you got to put it off... You can do this by keeping the power button (located on top of the iPhone) and home button pressed for a few seconds till the screen goes blank and then leave the buttons... When you are sure it is off, start iTunes. Again press the power button and the home button. Keep them pressed for 10 seconds exactly. During this time the iPhone will come on and you'll see the grey Apple logo but don't leave the buttons. It'll then go off. The screen should remain blank all this time but you'll notice that iTunes has recognised an iPhone connected to it. Once it has been recognised, you can leave the home button. Be sure you have saved the file for firmware 1.0.2 on you computer before you start this process. You'll also need AppTap Installer and PayCay. If you don't have these files, you can download them from http://iphone.unlock.no/ and you can go through their method of downgrading. I recommend using their method of downgrading plus iBrickr as I feel iBrickr will help you solve any problems you may face without any hassels. But use iBrickr if you plan on downgrading it to 1.0.2 firmware only. For other ways and other firmwares please check http://iphone.unlock.no/ Hope I was able to help you guys out...

I have preloaded 1.1.2 on my iPhones and still have not been able to unlock either, so if anyone can help it would be appreciated. Also, for those with the scrolling it can be stopped by holding the selection button while turning off the phone and then releasing the power button but holding the selection button for like 10 more seconds and then powering on again. It takes a few tries sometimes but you can get back to the DFU mode this way and then recover the firmware.

I am having the same problem, the only difference is that i am using the iTouch. I tried to install ibrickr, wouldnt work. Got the Red Screen with the itunes and cord logo, then the thing started to show code rapidly and refuses to do anything else, if anyone can help it would be awesome cause i just got this thing.

Im using the iphone in india n have installed all the apps via ibrickr V0.91
I was using the iBrick for the past one month happily, until a week ago. I tried installing the summberboard in my iphone and that is the end of it. Now im not able to install or uninstall any of the apps in my iphone. iPhone is detected by the ibrickr and on installing/uninstalling the app, the ibrick is giving message the "iphone will softrestart in 30 sec" but nothing happens.
And the worst is yet to come. The iphone dock (which is the static last row icons), which is supposed to be at the bottom of the screen have gone to the top, overlapping the first row icons (text, calendar, photos,camera). Pls have a look of the screen shot of my phone that i have attached with this. I could see many suffering from similar problem. iPhone guru's over there pls do help out innocent iphone freeks like us.

Pls have a look of my iphone screen in the image. This is how its looking now... ohh god.. looks awkward isnt it.. pls help

According to my friend, the phone was actually unlocked and had firmware 1.0.2 on it initially but he updated it by mistake... iBrickr has been working fine for the past two days. the holding down of the home and power button stops the scrolling but as soon it powers up again it keeps rebooting. Is it terminal please help, this is a christmas present turning into a diaster.

When I try to install a pxl app with iBrickr it says it was sent to the pxl daemon on the iphone successfully and will soft reset within 30 seconds but the iphone never resets and the app does not get installed. I can install an app through the installer.app although it used to do a soft reset when finished but no it does not. Does anyone know how to restart the pxl daemon? He posibility installed BSD subsystem & OpenSSH but of these won't show up on you phone as apps. You should install SummerBoard & installer, SB will allow you to tweak you phone and install will allow you to install various apps.

All worked ok until I pressed the wrong button and upgraded the firmware to 1.1.2.

which all worked fine and I have just jailbroken it again. So I only now need to run Anysim to get the sim back to normal.

En este estado el computador no reconoce el iPhone a través del cable USB porque al parecer no reinicia completamente.

Indíquenme, por favor, cómo se corrige esta falla, al menos para que reconzca el USB y poder manipularlo con iTunes o con iBrickr.

Hi!

Please excuse my bad english.

While using iBrickr to manipulate my iPhone, I've pressed the �Boot Up� option.

My iPhone screen turned red just like the iBrickr said. After that the iPhone goes in a infinite booting.

I have saved a video in http://www.yoled.com/my_iphone.avi showing the iPhone screen.

The computer does nor recognize the iPhone via USB cable.

Please say me how can I correct this situation. I want to my iPhone recognize the USB and restore my info. Please Help.

You need to download firmware version 1.0.2 from many of the iphone hack forums, unpack it to your desktop, then when hitting "restore" button in itunes, hold shift, that will allow you to restore it to the version that you need...

There are two possible ways to remove the folders. First for both you need to install openssh (I believe it needs BSD Subsystem as well). You can then either:

a) putty into you iphone, and remove the folders manually, or
b) an easier method is to use winSCP (use SCP mode instead of SFTP). WinSCP will give you an explorer like view of your device and you should be able delete the folders from there.

I'm not sure what applications you are referring to, but, I upgrade installer 2.63 on my 1.0.2 device and was unhappy with the beta versions (3.0B4 and 3.0B5). I reinstalled 2.63 and it rebuilds the repository with the installed applications that were there before I upgraded.

If it is not under Installer 2.63, what specific applications are you looking to remove?

You will only see applications that you have installed with the "Install from PXL file" entry from ibrickr (not those installed through the Install application on the phone).

The program i used was customize from the ibrickr apps list and then downloaded some of the sound bundles as well. you can also add sounds to your phone if you ssh into it and add them that way. Im not exactly sure where i put the files but if you do some searching through ssh you can find the other sounds and place them there in the same folder and then restart your phone and it will be there.

As you know, with other handsets, you will get a message saying you have a voice message - but not with iPhone. Do you hve the same problem.

My phgone is ver 1.0.2 unlocked with anySim 102.

It looks that in certain versions of XP and VISTA iBrickr is hanging - it is because how it is made using DHTML classes. - in vista I have the wait sign and it waits for the application.

I had my share of headache with it !

the solution:

1. open service manager (Start-->Run-->Services.MSC)
2. Stop Windows Audio service
3. Start iBricker

If the iBrickr is working and you can select text but it has not identified itunes it is the Apple Mobile service

the solution:

1. open service manager (Start-->Run-->Services.MSC)
2. Restart "Apple Mobile" service

That's it !

I did it last night using Carneval.
I originally bought the phone with 1.1.1, then downgraded, unlocked and was using the phone.
Last noight I tried to upgrade back up to 1.1.1 then used Carnaval to unock etc. It worked a treat.
Just run Carnaval and follow the instuctions onscreen TO THE LETTER ( watch for case sensitive folders etc).
It worked first time for me, but now I cant upload any 3rd part applications.
I might downgrade again to get the apps, but as you see in my posting above, 3rd party apps for 1.1.1 are not too far away.

The files on the mirror are actually .PXL files.

If you click on the link it changes the extension to .ZIP, but, if you right click and "Save Target as" you can change the .ZIP to .PXL.

Another option is to rename it once it's saved on your computer.

You will need to download them, and install them using the "Install from PXL file" under "Applications", but they are all on the mirror - including a newer version of anysim - version 1.11p, and onesim which will undo changes made by anysim.

I asked the same question a few comments ago about anysim1.1.
anysim was on ibrickr PXL a couple of weeks ago, but its not there anymore.
I also noticed that all the applications are listed as having been released an hour ago.
I thought there was aproblem with ibrickr references but cant get anyone to reply.

Also - Natetrue hasn't been on to reply in a while - maybe he's on holiday oor something - or working hard trying to get a hack / unlock for firmware 1.1.1 !!
