Okay, i know that Zibri has just released the new easier iphone 1.1.3 jailbreak but im sending this message to everyone. EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO ON 1.1.3 YOU CAN DO ON 1.1.2/1.1.1 IF YOU INSTALL CERTAIN THRID PARTY APPS. I have also noticed that you can install more apps and they run better on 1.1.2/1.1.1

I followed this guide and it worked untill the update to 1.1.3, then it would reboot after the soft upgrade and never get out of recovery. Doesn't matter now anyway I just used the Zibri jailbrake <a href="http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t">http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t</a>=29554&amp;highlight=Ziphone I really am not trying to hijack this just want to say that after hours of trying this all I needed to do was 50 seconds with an unpatched 1.1.3 phone the Zibri tool and it was jailbroken. This took me hours and I got no where in the end.I do come away from it with knowing how to fix some issues like a dead badeband.

Hey everyone.. I am Patrick and I need some SERIOUS help. ok.. I have spent about 5 days solid almost trying to update my 1.1.2 to 1.1.3 and nothing.. I get as far as everything being done and then i go to sync for the first time and it tells me to take my phone to apple. I then try again and same thing. I also tried the sync fix and it did the same thing. I have tried and tried and tried.. I can update to 1.1.2 with no problem at all and it is soooo easy to do that but nothing on getting to 1.1.3. I also dont understand why are all these people updating software from installer and taking it away from installer for 1.1.3. With everyone or alot of people having issues trying to get to 1.1.3 i dont think they should take away from 1.1.2. If anyone can help me out that would be great. This is EXACTLY what I do to get to 1.1.2 and it works like a charm for me omg sooo easy...
<br /><br />1) plug I-Phone into I-Tunes and click on Shift / Restore and choose the 1.1.2 File
<br />2) Once you are back to 1.1.2 and back to factory spec's then click on shift / restore and choose 1.1.1
<br />3) you will get 1015 error or something like that. Run Iphuc for windows and type in 3 commands
<br />cmd setenv auto-boot true
<br />cmd saveenv
<br />cmd fsboot
<br />4) That will get you back to the phone.. Now turn on your WiFi and connect
<br /> a) close itunes and end it using task manager
<br />	b) on your iphone go to <a href="http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com">http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com</a>
<br />5) Then run Carnaval Folder *click on the file that says &quot;(CLICK HERE) and it will start you off.
<br />6) Everytime you are asked to reboot in Carnaval then you need to run Iphuc and type: cmd fsboot (to get you to the main iphone screen on your phone)
<br />	every time it says to do it run it.
<br />7) then when you are done you will have 2 new icons called anysim and installer on your springboard of your phone.
<br />8) Run Installer on your iphone and install BSD Subsystem
<br />9) Install Community Resources
<br />10) Install OktoPrep
<br />11) Open I-Tunes and upgrade to 1.1.2
<br />Close I-Tunes
<br />12) Then Run Windows (Batch File) from 1.1.2 Jailbreak folder from the Patrick Iphone Repair Folder while connected to ITunes
<br /><br />I dont know why no one can actually fix this issue and have a sure way of getting to 1.1.3...
<br /><br />Also if you do take the chance and update to 1.1.3 you wont be able to get some of the programs back like voice recorder and things like that because they are not on installer anymore for 1.1.2
<br /><br />Anyway if you can help please email me at pdconner@comcast.net or <a href="http://www.pdconner.com">www.pdconner.com</a> is my website.

After this it should come to the main iphone phone page but it does not. It goes back to the slide for emergency page again. What's going on?....thanks for the help.

Okay, i ran into the same error. Just put your phone into recovery mode, donload the 1.1.3 firmare file and restore to that. It should bring it back to life. Also, update, dont upgrade to 1.1.3. The update is problamatic and for some reason is not working. Also, more apps run on 1.1.2/1,1,1

I also tried to regarge my battery on the wall. it won't charge. now itunes says error 9 or 6 for restore. ANd independance says that I am connected to it but does noting, all the buttons stays unclickable. Also I tryed to change computer like the error tells me to do in apple error bank, because sometime the pc starts to not recognize what type of material it is. Also, could it be because I went in another time zone? I went to mexico and came back putted my phone in airplane mode and when I arrived in my car I put it in the charger (car charger on airplane mode????) but the freegame started in the plane when I was getting out, the battery was very low. Then it sais on my phone that it needed repair and wouldn't charge. I read most of what everthing is going on on frenchiphone, creation, most of the site... I think I have a big challenge, but I will need tech support, who's up!

Hi Nate, I have a serious problem, I tryed everything to make my phone reboot. Noting, not even a itune restore. I tryed taking the classic ibrik, I run a crashed 1.1.2 jailbroken 3.9 ipsf phone. I tried restore to 1.1.3 has last attempts but it wont work after a 20 min restore. Itunes sees it but not ibrik, new one or old. It makes lines on the springboard while I try to restore it. Then nothing or it says error 6 when i try to restore to a 1.1.2 or 1.1.1, then at one point error 1601 then I got itunes to restore..and it makes me wait hours. Could it be that I damaged my boatloader. And now nothing works! Got An idea for me?

okay, ill be posting a video on youtube by tonight that shows me doing all of the steps above. Did you start with 1.1.3 out of the box? You should have read this carefully. I specifically said at the top not to perform on 1.1.3 out of the box. The best advice i can give you know is to install the bootloader from i unlock. I warned you at the top and it is not my fauslt if your iphone stays like this because i mentioned the warnings and the possible side effects of this process but try the bootloader. Hope this helps, if not, im sorry but as i mentioned, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<br /><br />Sincerely,
<br />elhacker

And yes, it is true but there is a bootloader downgrade also in unlocking tools but i have never tried dongrading with a 1.1.3 virgin iphone and then downgrading the bootloader so i wouldnt know so i dont recomend it

Try downgrading to 1.1.1 again and redo those steps. Follow only what it says and do everything. Dont listen to other jailbreaking methods like nate trues even though it works. This method is specifically for downgrading and upgrading back to a jailbroken 1.1.3. just try it again. Ive done it many times to make sure and it has worked always but i have found it easier to stay on 1.1.2/1.1.1 due to the fact that 1.1.3 only allows you to run some apps like no customize which i think is awesome. If you continue to have problems then tell me
<br /><br />

I followed all the instructions successfully.
<br />However I can't find the 113_update in the installer list, I've already install &quot;community sources&quot; and no way to see the package to execute.
<br />I've SCPed my IPhone and I can see the &quot;113_upgrade_image.bin&quot; file in &quot;/private/var/root/Media/softupgrade&quot; directory.
<br />Can someone help me on how to execute it or give me an idea about how to fix my problem of not get the file in the installer?
<br /><br />Thanks
