I am a very small part of a group of people who have designed and built an impressive & entertaining device called the ACME Catapult. This catapult was designed to hurl pumpkins at an annual pumpkin hurling contest in Central Illinois, but it was modified a few years ago to hurl large appliances (refrigerators, stoves, etc.) on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
