Chronologically, these bugs should have been uploaded before my Meatball GIFS, since on our trip to Sweden in the summer of 2007, we arrived, stayed in boat-hostel in Stockholm for two nights, and then wended out way to Småland (pronounced Smoe-land) for a family reunion, during which these were taken (run on sentence, anyone?). A week later we voyaged to Gotland, home of the Goths, where I made the GIFS. Long story short, this upload is overdue, and I mainly just like talking about Sweden. Blah blah blah meatballs.
We were all at some farm were some ancestors (but now another family) lived. Sam said something along the lines of "Julian! There's a spider on your back!" When I figured out where it was, I reached around and took a blind picture. I'm overjoyed it turned out like this. What a sinister spider. And acid green to boot!
This was at another ancestor's farm. It was amazing there, because the original building is still intact. It's sad lack of maintenance is breaking my heart and letting the floors/ceilings collapse, with old chest of drawers, house deeds, hand painted ceilings, old spinning wheels, and other museum materials still inside. It's a fascinating little building. :<
Anyways, this was outside, next to the modern house on the same property. What a classy bug.
This little couple was in the same flower box, I believe. Interracial lovers!
Also, I think that the little red bug is the same species as the one on the rose.
Oup, woup, no. Nevermind, it's not.
