This is my first & probably my last attempt @ working with clay. I roll the clay out to 1/2" thick & build the round head shape over a glass globe I had laying around. When the clay sets a little I slit it & peel it off. I start with the eyes & nose & then apply the triangular strips in lines. I have no design in mind when I start, it all follows the eyes & nose.
