I feel that it's ready for a public release. Essentially, it provides a GUI for the .jar file. Those of you that already use the .jar file will find this as a great shortcut and those of you that have been putting off using the .jar file because it is too complicated will be able to have the same functionality in a far simpler form.

Notes:
- Navigate to your .artwork file using the file browser
- Select your target directory from the drop down list of sub-folders contained within your .artwork's directory
- Choose import or export
- Press Go

The Executable Setup file can be downloaded http://planet-iphones.com/wp-content/filez/iPhoneShop%20Setup.exe

Mac users get all the cool applications like iFuntastic and such.

No more of that! iBrickr is the Windows application that makes it dead simple to modify your iPhone, add and manage custom ringtones, and install third-party applications.

For now iBrickr isn't terribly useful. It was designed with the 1.0.2 firmware in mind. If you want ringtones on your iPhone, check out http://www.efksoft.com/products/iphoneringtonemaker/index_af3.htm iPhone Ringtone Maker, which works great even with 1.1.3 iPhones. It's put out by a friend of mine, and it works great. Totally worth the money.

To get a feel for how simple it is, check out this video from http://video.gearlive.com/video/article/179-hack-iphone-ibrickr/ Gear Live's Bleeding Edge:

Yes, that's me in the video! I'm famous!

I want to be able to use my PC from the comfort and safety of my iPhone. I got to thinking about it, and it seemed that modifying VNC was the best option. It already has the remote framebuffer thing down pat and I just had to write a web interface for it so the iPhone could connect up.

I decided on http://www.tightvnc.com TightVNC as my starting point. There was already a built-in HTTP server that I modified heavily. Right now it's Windows only because that's all I have to develop on, but I didn't use Windows-specific functions so porting should be trivial. (Update: now it does use Windows-specific functions for window choosing. Sorry!)

To use:
 - Download the http://devices.natetrue.com/iphone/webvnc_binaries.zip Binaries from my website (Developers: http://devices.natetrue.com/iphone/webvnc_src.zip source, http://devices.natetrue.com/iphone/tightvnc_1.3.9_win_to_webvnc.patch patch)
 - Extract all files into some folder and run WinVNC.exe

I figure, why not? Here I've created a simple API that lets any website use what I dub the Linkback system.

The whole idea behind the Linkback system is to get a nice, high-level view of what sites are linking to you, and to display them to the website visitors with little blurbs, just like Trackbacks.

But the Trackback system was clunky and useless to me for a few reasons:
 - It requires effort on the part of the linkmaker,
 - It needs the linker's CMS to support trackbacks,
 - Having written cre.ations.net myself, I didn't want to implement trackbacks, and most of all
 - The trackback system has been leveraged by spammers to the point of near uselessness.
